Specialized Medical Training Courses 1-2 (SMTC 1-2) were designed to fill a current gap existing within the military medical training system.

 

The SMTC courses focus on both the operational and clinical requirements that fall onto specialized medical teams within the DoD. By integrating SMEs and realistic mission profiles, these courses ensure that the demanding training requirements of medical providers do not get diluted by the integration into larger-scale tactical exercises. 

 

We understand that the students of these courses are already clinical professionals, we built these courses with the intention of solidifying clinical competencies with operational considerations. 

 

The SMTC programs are modularized to ensure that the team receives the training that supports their mission. We know that a one size fits all is not an appropriate means of training when not all missions are the same. Our cadre of experts is able to develop mission-specific blocks of instruction or design FMP exercises around generic AO considerations. 

 

Pre-requisites: Current Military (SOF) Medical Support Team or Members of.

Course Delivery: The courses are broken into 2 distinct courses. 

SMTC-1: 50+ Hours, considered an "Assessment" of team and provider capabilities, with a complete AAR provided to the team after course completion.

SMTC-2: In Residence- 5 Days (50+ Hours) Considered a "validation" course. This course has up to 36 Hours of Full Mission Profile (FMP) exercises, with a "walk" exercise conducted prior to FMP. This course is designed to be immersive with day 1 in-brief and ROE/MEDROE generated to align with team mission set.
