The Tactical Medical Practitioner (TMP) program is SOARescue's flagship tactical medicine course. It goes beyond traditional TCCC/TECC to build complete tactical medical operators who can integrate seamlessly into law enforcement and military teams. Students progress through a structured hybrid curriculum — completing online pre-work before arriving for an intensive in-residence program that emphasizes hands-on skill development, clinical decision-making under stress, and full-scale scenario-based assessments. TMP graduates leave with the knowledge, confidence, and muscle memory to save lives in the most hostile environments. Who It's For -EMTs, Paramedics & Advanced Providers Prerequisites: -Current EMT, Paramedic certification or higher (PA, RN, MD/DO) -Minimum 2 years of active field experience recommended -Current BLS/ACLS certification -Must complete all online pre-course modules before in-residence start Course Delivery: The course is broken into 2 sections. -Section 1: 32 Hours online - opens 30 days prior to the start of the in-residence portion. -Section 2: In residence - 5 days (50 hours) in class and scenarios.
