Terms of Service
Special Operations Aid & Rescue, Ltd. ("SOARescue," "we," "us," or "our")
Effective Date: July 7, 2026 Last Updated: July 7, 2026
Welcome to SOARescue. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at soarescue.com, together with any subdomains, online courses, e-learning platform, forums, and related services we make available (collectively, the "Services").
Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using the Services, creating an account, or purchasing a course, product, or subscription, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.
1. Who We Are
SOARescue is a tactical and austere medical training company. We provide in-person and online instruction, continuing education, digital course content, and related equipment to military, federal, law enforcement, professional responder, and prepared-civilian audiences.
Company: Special Operations Aid & Rescue, Ltd. Mailing address: 640-B Matthews-Mint Hill Rd, Matthews, NC 28105 Email: info@soarescue.com Phone: +1 855-476-2737
2. Eligibility and Age Requirements
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, make a purchase, or enter into a contract with us. Individuals under 18 may use the Services only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to be responsible for their activity. Certain courses or products may carry additional eligibility requirements (for example, professional credentials or a completed authorization form), which will be identified at the point of enrollment or sale.
3. Accounts
To access certain features—including enrolling in courses or making purchases—you must create an account. When you do, you agree that:
- The information you provide is accurate, current, and complete, and you will keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You will keep your login credentials confidential and will not share your account.
- You will notify us immediately at info@soarescue.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
We are not liable for any loss arising from your failure to safeguard your credentials. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms (see Section 12).
4. Courses, Digital Content, and Enrollment
4.1 Access. When you purchase or enroll in an online course, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access that content for your own personal or internal professional use, for the access period stated at purchase.
4.2 No redistribution. Course materials, videos, handouts, and downloadable resources are licensed, not sold. You may not copy, record, redistribute, resell, sublicense, publicly display, or share access to any course content, except as expressly permitted in writing by us.
4.3 Continuing education and accreditation. Where a course is advertised as offering continuing education credit or is tied to an accrediting body, credit is subject to your completion of all requirements and to the rules of the relevant accrediting organization. We do not guarantee that any credential, certificate, or credit will be accepted by any particular employer, agency, or licensing authority.
4.4 Live and in-person courses. Registration for live or in-person courses may be subject to separate scheduling, prerequisite, cancellation, and attendance terms presented at the time of registration. Those course-specific terms control where they conflict with this Section.
5. Purchases, Pricing, and Payment
5.1 Orders. Your order is an offer to purchase. A binding contract is formed only when we send you an order or enrollment confirmation. We may decline or cancel any order at our discretion; if we do, we will refund any amount already charged for that order.
5.2 Pricing. All prices are in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. We make reasonable efforts to ensure prices are accurate, but errors may occur. If we discover a pricing error on an item you ordered, we will contact you and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel. If prices change between the time you order and the time we process it, the price in effect when you placed the order applies.
5.3 Payment. Payment is processed through third-party payment processors. You authorize us and our processors to charge your selected payment method for the total amount of your order, including applicable taxes and fees. We do not store full payment card numbers on our own systems.
5.4 Subscriptions and recurring billing. If you purchase a subscription or recurring plan, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method at the stated interval until you cancel. You may cancel a subscription at any time as described in your account or at checkout; cancellation stops future charges but does not retroactively refund the current billing period unless required by law.
6. Refunds and Cancellations
6.1 Physical products. Equipment and physical goods sold through our store are subject to the store's return and refund policy, available at the point of sale. Certain items—including medical devices, hazardous materials, and opened or used goods—may be non-returnable.
6.2 Digital courses and e-learning. Because online course content is delivered digitally and accessible immediately, refunds for digital enrollments are handled as stated at the point of purchase. Unless otherwise stated, once you have accessed, downloaded, or substantially begun a course, that enrollment may be non-refundable.
6.3 Live/in-person courses. Cancellation and transfer terms for live courses (including any deadlines and fees) are provided at registration and control over the general terms in this Section.
6.4 How to request. To request a refund or cancellation, contact us at info@soarescue.com with your order or enrollment number. We aim to respond promptly.
6.5 Controlling terms. The specific refund, cancellation, and transfer terms presented to you at the point of purchase or registration (including any deadlines, fees, and transfer options) are the controlling terms for that order and govern over the general provisions in this Section.
7. Medical and Training Disclaimer
Read this section carefully. It is important.
7.1 Educational purpose only. SOARescue's courses, content, and materials are provided for training and educational purposes. They are not medical advice, and they do not establish a provider-patient relationship. Nothing in the Services should be relied upon as a substitute for professional medical judgment, local protocols, medical direction, or applicable law.
7.2 No guarantee of outcomes. Tactical and emergency medicine involves inherent risk. We do not warrant that completing any course will produce any particular result, competency, or outcome, or that techniques taught will be appropriate or effective in any given real-world situation. You are responsible for acting within your training, scope of practice, certification, and the law that applies to you.
7.3 Assumption of risk (in-person training). Physical, hands-on training carries risk of injury. Participation in live courses may require you to sign a separate waiver, assumption-of-risk, and medical-readiness acknowledgment. Those documents supplement these Terms.
7.4 Equipment. Medical and rescue equipment must be used only by individuals with appropriate training. You are responsible for understanding the proper use, limits, and legal restrictions of any equipment you obtain.
8. Acceptable Use
When using the Services, including any forums, comments, or communication tools, you agree not to:
- Violate any law or the rights of others;
- Post or transmit content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, threatening, or hateful, or that incites violence;
- Impersonate any person or entity, including SOARescue staff;
- Upload malware or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts;
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data or content from the Services;
- Use the Services to send spam or unauthorized advertising; or
- Reproduce, resell, or commercially exploit any part of the Services without our written permission.
We may monitor, remove, or refuse content and may retain copies of communications made through our systems. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 Our content. All content on the Services—including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio and video, course materials, page layout, and underlying code—is owned by SOARescue or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. The SOARescue name and logo are our marks and may not be used without written permission.
9.2 Limited license to you. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services and content for your own personal or internal professional purposes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
9.3 Third-party materials. Product images, descriptions, and certain referenced materials may belong to their respective manufacturers or owners and remain their property.
9.4 Your submissions. If you submit content to us (for example, forum posts or feedback), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with operating and promoting the Services. You represent that you have the rights to submit it.
10. Third-Party Links and Services
The Services may link to or integrate third-party sites and services (for example, our online store, payment processors, or e-learning platform providers). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, or practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms and privacy policies.
11. Disclaimers and "As Is"
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that the Services will meet your requirements or be secure, error-free, or continuously available. See also the medical and training disclaimers in Section 7.
12. Suspension and Termination
Either you or we may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access—with or without notice—if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure for us, or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to access the Services and any course content ceases. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7, 9, 11, 13, 14, and 15) will survive.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SOARescue and its officers, employees, instructors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Services or any training, content, or products, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us for the specific product, course, or service giving rise to the claim in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SOARescue and its officers, employees, instructors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any law or third-party right, or your application or misapplication of any training or equipment.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above and post the new version on this page. Material changes may be communicated by additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
17. Miscellaneous
- Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any course- or product-specific terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services.
