Payment Plans

Special Operations Aid & Rescue, Ltd. ("SOARescue," "we," "us," or "our")

Effective Date: September 3, 2026 Last Updated: September 3, 2026

SOARescue offers payment plans on many of our courses. You pay a deposit when you register, which reserves your seat, and the rest in equal payments over the following weeks. This page explains how that works and what you are agreeing to when you choose a plan.

Nothing is charged automatically. We do not keep your card. For each payment we email you a secure link, and you pay it yourself with whatever card you like.

When a payment plan is available

A plan is offered at checkout when all of these are true:

  • the course is priced $350 or more;
  • you are registering more than 17 days before the course starts; and
  • you do not already have an active payment plan with us — one plan at a time, per student.

If a plan is not offered, you can still register by paying in full.

Each registration needs its own email address. If you are enrolling someone else, or a group, use Group / Agency Registration.

Your deposit

The deposit reserves your seat and is paid at checkout:

  • courses priced $1,000 and up$500
  • courses priced under $1,000$250

Your deposit may include a few extra cents so that the remaining payments come out to exactly equal amounts. Checkout shows you the exact figure before you pay.

Your seat is not reserved until the deposit is paid.

Your payment schedule

You choose how many payments to split the remaining balance into — up to four. You do not choose the dates.

  • Payments fall every two weeks, starting two weeks after your deposit.
  • Every payment is the same amount.
  • Each payment is at least $100, so a smaller balance splits into fewer payments.
  • Your balance must be paid in full at least three days before the course starts.

That last rule is why you may see fewer options — or none — the closer you register to the course date. The schedule has to finish before the course begins.

Your whole schedule, every date and every amount, is shown to you before you pay the deposit, again on the confirmation page, and again in your confirmation email.

How we ask for payment

For each payment, we email a secure payment link to the address you registered with:

  • three days before the due date;
  • again on the due date;
  • again three days later, if it is still unpaid; and
  • again seven days later.

After that we follow up with you directly.

Links go to the email address on your registration, so please watch that inbox and check your spam folder. A link that does not arrive does not change what is owed — tell us and we will send it again.

Paying early, or catching up

You can pay any installment as soon as its link arrives. To settle your whole balance in one payment, contact us and we will send you a single link for the remaining amount. There is no fee or penalty for paying ahead of schedule.

The same applies if you have fallen behind: contact us and we will send a link for everything outstanding.

If something comes up

If you cannot make a payment on schedule, email us before the due date and tell us what you need. We would far rather hear from you early.

Anything we are able to do is decided case by case, and nothing on this page is a promise that we will change your schedule. You agree to these terms before your payment plan begins, and SOARescue reserves the right to cancel a payment plan.

If your balance is not paid

If your balance is not cleared by three days before the course starts, we will contact you to work it out. Until it is resolved we cannot confirm your place, and we may release your seat to another student. If we release it, the terms below apply, based on the date.

We would much rather sort it out with you. Write to educationteam@soarescue.com.

Transfers, cancellations, and refunds

Our transfer, cancellation, and refund policy is set out in full under Transfers, Cancellations & Refunds, and it applies to payment plans exactly as it applies to any other registration.

Most students who cannot make a course move to another one rather than cancel, and that is what we would suggest first: your full paid value comes with you, and your remaining payments come with you too.

If we cancel or reschedule a course

Occasionally we have to cancel or move a course. If we do, you choose one of the following:

  • move to another scheduled date at no additional cost;
  • keep the full value you have paid as credit toward a future course; or
  • take a full refund of everything you have paid.

Either way, your remaining scheduled payments are cancelled. We will contact you directly, and the choice is yours. The refund deadlines above do not apply when the cancellation is ours.

We are not able to reimburse travel or lodging costs, so please book refundable arrangements where you can.

If you are not sure which course yet

If you know you need to move but not yet where, we can hold your registration for up to 180 days while you decide, and we can extend that if you need it. Your scheduled payments continue during a hold — they are going toward your future course, and you will keep receiving payment links for them. The value you have paid stays with you on the same 12-month terms as a transfer.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in effect on the day you register governs your plan; changes do not apply retroactively to a plan already underway.
